Is organ cooperation a compromise?
Abstract
It is proposed that since organs of the body evolved due to chance events and therefore do not represent a logical system, compromises between their functions are necessary for survival. Medicine then becomes a study of an essentially disorderly system capable of malfunctioning in unexpected ways.
