Telomerase-independent modulation of telomere lengths in mammalian chromatids

Abstract 

The paper discusses modulation of telomore length by mechanisms that don not require telomerase. Although ultimately dependent upon the cell's mitotic potential, these mechanisms do not sufficiently discriminate between normal and malignant cells.
